The Awesome Dino Show

We saw a baby T-Rex at the show. At first it looked real because it had real sharp teeth. Some children enjoyed it but others were scared. He told us it was a 1 year old T-Rex. His Mum would be 7 times bigger. He had more dinosaurs but they didn't bring them. He brought that one because it was the scariest. The man inside knew where to go because he had a camera and TV screen inside.

Hiwi The Kiwi Show

Today the Minstrel played lots of songs for us. He cracked us up when someone came up to the front. He called them Booboo and the girls Sweety Pie. He did a really good job when Campbell came up. He made rhyming words with their names and he added a lot of hunour. He talked to us about big, medium and small fish. He told us to always bring a ruler to measure the fish. You cannot take big or small fish but you can take medium fish because it is the right size. You can not take the big fish because they might be having babies and small because they need to grow. You also need flares when you’re in danger. You take off the lid and a big yellow ball and it goes high in the sky. Now for my fishing story… Two years ago I went fishing with grandad Jon and my family. We went on Grandad Jon’s boat- his boat is huge. I looked at the water and there were heaps of fish. I got a turn with the fishing rod and I caught a fish. I gave it to Grandad Jon. He checked if it was the right size and it was. We caught ten fish. When we had finished we went back to Dunedin. We cooked them. They were delicious. By Connor
